Vodafone merger
Looking at my Access Point Names (APN), I note that it shows: wap.vodafone.co.uk. Does this suggest that:
- The Vodafone merger has completed?
- I now have access to the Vodafone network, and hence increased coverage?

On reflection, I think the vodafone APN belongs to my Lebara SIM.
That suggests that I need to add the mob.asm.net as my Smarty APN as I have none.It also means that when the merge is finalised, I can cancel my second SIM.

iantresman Yes, that sounds likely.
I'm not sure that we will see much change for a very long time in this merger process.
Even though sims from providers may run on the same network, it often seems that the service is not identical i.e. Three and Smarty are not quite identical.

iantresman I see you have another thread on this.
My phone simply has the APN named as mob.asm.net and works just fine abroad and at home.
