unique smarty referral links to fibritel

hi

i'm uk based and when i get my unique smarty referral link, https://i.smarty.co.uk/exbpYn it doesn't link to smarty, it links to https://fibritel.com/

What's going on and how do i resolve?

    Thanks for coming back on this. It's the link that smarty has given me via their referral mechanism. If you check your own referral link, you will see your subdomain will also be "i.", however it most probably won't link to a foreign site.

      The link I get on the smarty website is:

      http://referme.to/nJWERKp 

      If I get a link from my Account Dashboard, it is in the same format as the one you quote, but the  last six characters are different.

      This is indeed strange. In your position, I would raise it as a Complaint so that it goes further up the "chain of command" (the office cat maybe?!)

        thanks again for your support. yes it is very weird behaviour. i've been chatting ajinkya in customer support and she is escalating the issue to her  dedicated team to investigate further. i'll update what the response is.

    rodsen​ Who sent you the link? Best to ask them what they are playing at.

    Looks like a link to a Spanish company that deals with fibre broadband and mobile and not Smarty.

    Clue: The address is i.smarty and not smarty

    If you want a Smarty plan, go to http://www.smarty.co.uk  direct and it will be the real thing!
