Unable to receive calls - straight to voicemail

Hi! Since July all calls that are not on Whatsapp go straight to voicemail, it’s much worse when I’m at home than when I’m out which is weird because it was working fine before July (I’ve been with SMARTY for years now).

Mobile service is fine and data roaming is on, I don’t know what to do. Please if anyone can help I’d be so grateful!!

NilaRaj_1192815 Firstly, check that you have not accidentally set your phone to reject all calls to voicemail.

If that is OK, try a web chat with Smarty Support for them to check their end.

Thanks. I have looked for the ' reject calls to voicemail ' on my iphone but cannot find it.

I spent ages trying to web chat with smarty support but gave up as it got me nowhere( I just want to speak to someone ). I tried checking coverage but when I put in a postcode and clicked  it went from green to white and nothing happened. Why O why can we not just talk to a human being.

daosh  On the iPhone go to Settings>Apps>Phone>Calls and check that you are not Call forwarding everything.

You certainly can talk to someone.......but only on another network that is likely to work out a lot more expensive. This is how Smarty keeps the price down.

If you raise a Complaint, there is however the option to receive a call back within 3 business days: https://smarty.co.uk/complaints

daosh Have you checked your phone settings carefully? Following that, did you try the web chat?

(The original poster has not been on this forum since 26/08/2025 and so you possibly won't get any rapid response)
