Question

Hi.Got my new smarty sim and ported number over...now when I send a text it sends it from the number that came with the sim and not my number.Any help pleaee

In addition to the suggestions by&nbsp;MSF, have you tried a NETWORK RESET,&nbsp;pjc211?&nbsp;Your handset user guide should explain this process, which often fixes this issue.&nbsp;

pjc211&nbsp; This problem comes up every couple of days. Depends upon your phone.In Settings, you may see the original number of your sim and so can change it manually. For iPhone, log out of iMessage and FaceTime and then log back in with your Apple ID.It is because the phone has 'remembered' the original number allocated to the sim.
