Smarty falling short with SIM Swap precautions

I've been hunting around the Smarty website looking for a way to set up a contact password to prevent anyone calling them to claim that they've lost my SIM and can they issue a new one to their address. Sadly, I've been unable to find a way to set this up. I'd feel much safer if Smarty had precautions in place to prevent SIM Swap as it seems to be a common method for fraud these days.
