Sharing documents

Hi I’m using my data only unlimited sim as a hotspot in a dongle for internet access in my flat. But have noticed it is not allowing documents to be shared on certain apps/platforms like we chat (but documents are able to be shared on those platforms if I use another sim). Does anyone know if there are WiFi restrictions sometimes on the sim?
