Setting Up XC90 for data Roaming
I have just bought a dat only Smarty SIM to use in my Volvo XC90. I have activated the dim and is working well.
We are due to be in France next week and want to use it for data roaming. My understanding is that I need change the APN setting to enable roaming, but I see no way to do this in the Volvo settings menu.
Does anyone know how to do this, or know even if I have to?
The is an Data Roaming Check box I ticked, but I don't think this will sort the APN changed required?

CHARLES_2219877 It may unfortunately not be as simple as that. The manufacturers have particular systems and you will need to check with Volvo.
Another similar post today showed a customer unsuccessfully struggling to set up his Sim with an Audi TT!
As you are roaming, you will indeed need to change the APN to “mob.asm.net” (Once you have done this, you can leave it, it will also work correctly within the UK)
As to how you change the APN in your Volvo, consult your Volvo’s manual, a car dealer or just Google it.

Settings > Communication > Car Modem Internet > Network > Mobile data
