Personal hotspot greyed out
My Smarty sim is in an iPad and I only really use it when away from home. Today, I thought I’d set up a personal hotspot to help a family member whose iPad has no mobile facility and the WiFi here is unreliable.
the personal hotspot option is ‘greyed’ out so I cannot select it to allow sharing.
I have checked my account on the smarty app and it says I should be able to use tethering and personal hotspot but it’s not available. Anybody got any ideas?

JSB Googling the issue tells me that the APN settings might be incorrectly set. The details on setting up the APN are here: Using the internet after you've joined SMARTY | SMARTY Help Centre.
