Scam Alert
I was contacted today by a certain number stating that Smarty is trying to move their customers to Three network and that my sim will be blocked and a new sim will be sent to my address.
They tried getting my personal information, account information and card information. But I refused to provide my card information to them.
Can anyone confirm this information as true or false because I’m so puzzled

Hi Oluwaka_3201023,
Sorry to hear this has happened to you. You have done the right thing by not giving any card details.
SMARTY wouldn't contact you and ask for any card details over the phone. We also wouldn't ask for this information via webchat. - Natalie

Oluwaka_3201023 It certainly sounds like a scam. Why would Smarty waste time in contacting so many customers when they could simply text or email them? They already have account information and would not need to ask for it.
If you want to double-check, you could have a web chat with Smarty Support to be sure.
