sim card check please

Tank you... turned out it was 'water damage' and a dead LCD screen.
I do not recall it getting wet, but hey ho!
I too am a customer... who needs to speak to smarty... mobile / sim is dead
NeilTha_2398233 All Smarty customer service starts via web chat; you get the chat bot at first and may then transfer to an agent if necessary.
Is it the mobile or the sim that is dead? Have you tried a Network Status check for your postcode?
Can you try the sim in another phone to check if it the original phone at fault?

I had removed the sim for safety last night... screen completely blank (off) but there is life under it - I can feel the odd vibration aid. I Put the sim back in and the device is making sounds - like for messages / connections etc... but I cannot see what is happening. I only have one device

NeilTha_2398233 So, it does rather sound like the phone is on its way out, doesn't it?
Not sure there's anything can be done other than to get hold of anothercor perhaps have a phone shop test it for you.
