No Whatsapp compatability
Issue sorted by going to connections then mobile networks and manually selecting SMARTY instead of the automatic selection setting . Did this on both phones and issue is resolved.
lynnpla_3092146 "Millions" ? Really? Smarty have over ONE million customers currently, so it cannot be that many.
Many of us have not experienced this problem.
Many of us use plans that do not have "loads data".
Google it . Ok maybe not millions then a lot of thousands lol

Reddit alone is full of it !
Man / lady rep on helpdesk is helping me with it on other phone now doing a hard re set of phone as nothing is processing from WhatsApp . They say they’re more
aware of it now and are looking into this .
lynnpla_3092146 Looks like it is linked to many networks and not just Smarty from what I read.
Then re type it in properly . I suggest lol ..
smarty customers have difficulty receiving WhatsApp sms .( and is said before I only have issues on smarty. Gaff sky voda etc never have a problem)
anyway .. I hard reset phone so now I’ll try again later if it fails I’ll just keep on gaff foe WhatsApp and maybe maybe not bother topping up smarty again. I’ll see how it goes .
lynnpla_3092146 Those reading lessons that I took from the age of 5 were really of great help. It means that apart from completing a university degree, I can now even type stuff into Google and evaluate the results carefully.
