New mobile device
I have just purchased a 16 pro 5G capable and i have changed my smarty sim card to the new mobile device but it does not work or connect. when i put the sim back into my old phone works straight away...

Perhaps the iPhone 16 Pro you bought is network locked, BrianCo_1281907.
If the item was a refurb purchase, sometimes the seller refurb QC processes fail and network locked phones are delivered. Otherwise, the SIM card reader might be faulty.
