National lottery app as stopped connecting

I now have the same issue, over the last couple of days when I’m in my local pub that has terrible signal problems and having to use their wi fi , it stubbornly refuses to allow me to use the national lottery app. I have not changed any settings on my mobile.
BarryHa_1528943 Does their WiFi maybe use a VPN?
