Phone to Work!
Hi All, this is my last ditch attempt to try and get some help!
I went live on 26th March 2026 and today’s have still not been able to get my phone to work.
I don’t understand why it doesn’t work and I haven’t got any assistance from the chat line.
I started with an e-sim moving from O2 to Smarty. It said my number transferred correctly.
e-sim wouldn’t work. I then got a physical sim in the post and they say they can’t attach it to my account as it wasn’t requested?
please, please, please help me in any way you can so I can actually use my phone again.

AndySho_4036248 When you ordered the physical sim, was it a Replacement sim or just an ordinary one? If it was the latter, then it will not work as there is already a sim associated with your account.
When you check your Account Dashboard, does it show an active sim (with your number) and also a current Smarty plan?
In your phone settings, have you checked that the esim is actually set to On?

I’m sure that’s what the people at Smarty would have checked. It was an ordinary sim. Which wasn’t ordered but came in the post. It took one of the guys from 3Network shop less than two minutes to get it working… it should not take 7 days and be constantly told you have to wait 24 hours for someone to get back to you.

AndySho_4036248 So, if the person from 3 Network got it going that easily, was it simply user error or was there something else you can share that may be useful to others?
