StuartS_3035002 When you say "the majority of the time', it's the other time that will probably have used your money up. Data costs an extortionate 25p per megabyte when roaming in Qatar.
Your phone will be checking things while not on the hotel wifi and this could easily eat up 40Mb.
I would recommend turning off mobile data in your settings.
An Esim will be cheaper than roaming almost always and there is plenty of choice out there. I always have an Esim at the ready for travel outside the EU. Currently I use Roamless because it only charges for what you actually use from the sum in your account.

Talk about going round in circles!!! Data usage in Morocco. Only 1 week. IF I add maybe £10 as an add on, what usage will this give me? Data only, no phone calls. As a comparison I think Holafly is about £3 - 4 per day, unlimited. HELP PLEASE

BERNICE_2327615 Why are you going round in circles?
Smarty Price Guide:
https://cdn.smarty.co.uk/files/SMARTY-Price-Guide.pdf
Pages 18 & 19. Morocco is in Band 2 for Roaming Charges.
Data for Band 2 is charged at 25pence per Megabyte - £256 per Gigabyte (A Gigabyte is 1024 Megabytes)
To answer your question, £10 will give 40 Megabytes which really is not much if you need data. (You can check your Smarty Data Usage in the app or on the Account Dashboard on website to see what you normally use)
The International Roaming products like Holafly, Roamless, Airalo, Sail etc (and more) are usually very much cheaper.......simples!!!
