Thanks. I’ll leave my old Sim in until port completed. Does my use of the PAC code tell my old provider I have left, or do I need to contact them?

PaulFre_1952 When you use the PAC code provided by the old provider, it gives your new provider permission to move the number across, so no need to inform the old provider. Obviously, you may still need to sort out any outstanding charges etc.

PaulFre_1952 You can only use your old sim if you are still in any form of contract with your previous network.

If you use the new Smarty sim, you can call, text and use data; the only issue will be that your calls and texts will appear to the recipient as if from a strange number unknown to them until the port takes place. (You may lose service for a short while during the port process)
