Number transfer
My friends and family are receiving texts with my new SIM number although I transferred my old number. Any idea how to fix it?

i ned to transfer my ol number with smarty please
I had this same issue last week to which is had to factory reset my device to make it work. Backup your device and give it a go? I'm not sure about waiting it out longer but didn't work for me. Hope this helps! 🙂👍🏻

Okay Shahram_1840045, turn OFF the "Chat features" option in the Messages app on your handset.
Sounds like Google are still using the SMARTY number initially allocated to your SIM card, before you transferred your number over to SMARTY.
Turning OFF "Chat features" avoids using Google to send your text message, and uses the SMARTY network instead.
