Data not working after missed payment

Hi, I recently missed a payment on my sons plan, but paid it since. His phone calls and texts are working fine but he can’t use data, any help please? Turned phone off, checked plan is Upto date, APN is correct, it’s been more than 24 hours since renewing plan.
