No service, no wifi calling
My husband and I are both on Smarty, for the past week we’ve had little or no service. Service status says maintenance but there has been no update. I can use wifi calling but my husband has no service at all. I’ve checked Smarty’s info and it says his phone is compatible and it’s newer than mine. I spent 2 hrs trying to sort it out with CHAT but it sent me round in circles. I did everything that was asked of me, changing settings, switching the phone off, updating the operating system etc, eventually it claimed it was a phone problem, but it was fine a week ago and whilst he was out of our area today he had service. We know it’s a service issue as there is no signal in the village where we live at the moment. One of the reasons we changed to Smarty was to use wifi calling. Any suggestions gratefully received.

I recently got a lebara SIM card who use the vodafone network to test and my wi-fi calling works. So clearly it's something wrong with the Three network.

I feel like a lot of people, including myself has lost the ability to do wi-fi calling when it used to work before.

Sorry, also to say that with regard to wifi calling I’ve been through all the suggestions they’ve given me with regards to settings on the phone but nothing words. I’ve also checked that the phone is compatible with wifi calling on Smarty site and it is.

My husband has had no wifi calling since 12th December. We’ve also had no network coverage in our area since then. I’ve had numerous “chats” and am getting nowhere. I’ve received a garbled email today saying something has been decommissioned in our area with no idea of a time for a fix. I’m not sure if it’s the mast or something to do with the wifi calling. They are showing our network coverage on line as excellent, which is a lie as there is none. Hey don’t seem to be doing. Anything about it at all. I checked on the Three website and they say they have a problem but no timeline for a fix. They also say they are joining with Vodafone but that doesn’t seem to have made any difference.
