Same in Dorset. Texts and mobile data fine, just calls.

This past two days, every-time I try to make an outgoing call the phone gets knocked off the Three/Smarty network. I contacted Smarty support and was asked to "Reset my Network settings" which I refused to do because it deletes all of my saved Wifi passwords, removes all of my connected Bluetooth devices and having done this in the past consider it to be a waste of time. Anyway, after arguing my point, the support person finally did a check and said that there was "upgrade/maintenance" work going on in my area, but only can be seen by Smarty employees! I checked the "Network Status Checker" and nothing! No SMS to inform customers of the planned work either. This seems to be Smarty/Three's Modus operandi, what is the point of the Network Status Checker then?!?

yes smarty is ok as long as it works, when there is a problem, there is no support.
Fortunately there is a large selection of new operators, you have to stop paying for a service that does not work.
And the best thing to do is to file a class action lawsuit- clivejoSMARTY Maverick25-06-2025
