Move number to another Smarty Account
Hi,
My Daughter has been using Smarty mobile on an account set up in my name.
Now that she's 18 she would like her own account. I see that I can't simply change the name on the account without providing deedpole or marriage certificates etc.
So my question is if she opens her own account is it possable to port/transfer her number to it? i.e Smarty to Smarty?

I’m in the same boat. With three network you can change ownership of the account. How can you transfer a number/sim that you own to another mobile account in someone else’s name? Is a PAC code transferable in that way? You’re losing business because if she opens an account with someone else I guarantee she’s not going to be bothered going back to smarty!
SarahHam_291409 For clarity, you are not writing to Smarty employees here; we are customers like you and are just trying to assist/signpost.
A PAC code only operates between networks and not within the same network.
I know of no way other than that I described on 03/02/2026. If you find something to the contrary, it would be useful to see it posted here.
SimonKe_1009332 Unfortunately, you cannot port a number within the same network.
She could buy the cheapest offering from another network, port the number to that sim, and then port in to her Smarty sim.
