It is usually because the settings have not been changed: Type ‘settings’ into the help search and you should find relevant information.

Hi I had the same problem with my zte 4g router try downloading the zte link app in the settings menu there should be an option to change the APN to the smarty one it took me a while to do it but once sorted the internet worked fine even in the EU, hope it helps
