Leaving SMART and coming back within a month

Hi SMARTY

My husband decided to leave SMARTY as the Wifi calling toggling was losing calls - his number was an additional plan on my account in my dashboard.
He has done so - but the other network said they have "Wifi Calling" but it has not materialised and the optiona is not available on that other network despite being advertised as a standard feature.

Question - is it possible for him to come back to SMARTY on my dashboard/account within a month with his original number via a PAC code?

Cheers

Jackie

Hi Michael - My husband tried activating a new SIM with his email address with a new account.  But again the message said this account is closed. I guess it reconised his email and DOB.

I guess he has to go to VOXI for a couple of months before coming back

Jacquel_2528093 If he is using the same email address, that may be causing the problem. Why does he not try a web chat with Smarty Support to see if they can clear it? http://www.smarty.co.uk/contact

I can't add him at the moment as it is saying his account is now closed

Is there a help number - or do I have to wait 30days?

Jacquel_2528093 There is no help number. If he moved away from Smarty, then I guess his account was closed.

Advice as given by @MichaelIP should allow him to start afresh and then get a PAC code from his old network and port in his number to the new account. You can invite him to join your group once he has activated a new sim and has a plan.

Jacquel_2528093 I think some of the problem with wifi calling arises because the phone will default to mobile signal if at all possible rather than wifi call. If a signal, albeit a poor one, becomes available, it will choose that.

    Hello Jacquel_2528093,

    Thanks for reaching out here.

Your husband can re-join Smarty by taking a plan here and using the option to bring his number over at the same time:  https://smarty.co.uk/all-plans.

Once this is finalised and he has a live account again, you can use the 'Add a SIM and save 10%' option from your dashboard to invite him.

    Michael
