Incorrect number showing on texts
I kept my previous number when I moved to Smarty but when I send texts, the recipient is getting notifications that the text is from the number that Smarty allocated me while processing the transfer ...
Hi no I did not. Had a looked, thank you could work I suspect maybe. I went system/app/message remove number- Apple then assigned my original number associated job appears done and working now.
robertc_3189722 Good news! This is one of the most common problems we see here. The phone 'remembers' the number originally allocated to the sim when activated and it doesn't see the need to change that unless forced to do so.
