BarryJo_1794827 You haven't said if you have mobile data - I'm assuming that you don't. Once you have set the phone up as suggested by JJP2 then all should be well.

if my assumption is wrong, and you do have mobile data working, you need to look at the settings for mail and WhatsApp .
