Help needed with

Help needed please with smarty wifi only sim.. it's fitted into my Huawei router.  On my phone it's showing connected but no Internet connection..

    AndyGou_3561041​ Sorry, but not totally clear.

    Is the sim in your Huawei router OR in your phone? If it is in the phone, you would let devices connect via hotspot and wouldn't need the router.

    For the phone, have you checked the Network Status for your postcode to ensure that there is a signal? Then you should have internet connection.

    If the sim is in the router, then it is exactly as MichaelP​  says.

    Hello AndyGou_3561041​,

    Thanks for reaching out here. Some settings may need to be tweaked for the data-only SIM to work in your Huawei router. Please try the following:-

    • When the Huawei router is connected to the data SIM, open a web browser.
    •  Enter the IP address listed on the router's label (usually 192.168.8.1) into the address bar and log in.
    • Navigate to Settings > Network Settings (or Mobile Network) > Profile Management (or APN).
    • Create a New Profile with the following details:
      • Profile Name: Smarty
      • APN: mob.asm.net
      • Username: Leave blank
      • Password: Leave blank. Save.
