Help needed to connect to EU roaming
Okay AngelaT_1873043, if you've got an active SMARTY plan, then you'll be able to use your plan's allowances while roaming in an EU destination like Italy.
Calls and texts will work without you needing to do anything, but using your mobile data while roaming requires the APN value to be "mob.asm.net", and data roaming enabled on your handset.

It has annoyed me is time, I have never had to do anything other than turn on the roaming. This time a new setup that doesn't give me data, and I haven't used my data cause it renew before I got on the plane and have not been able to use it. The wifes phone is working fine , she doesn't have to ask every bar or restaurant for their Wifi code.
All you have to do is simply change the APN in your phone to ‘mob.asm.net’, it takes about 30 seconds.
You can use up to 12 GB of data within the EU. You will need an add on to use more than 12 GB or if you are travelling outside the EU.
