eSIM is here 🎉
Yes that is the solution thank you otherwise every time you phone you have to chose the sim
DavidSm_1800216 Aha!! Glad that worked then!
When I am roaming outside the EU, I use an sim for data and I always need to either turn off the Smarty sim in settings or stop it being the primary and then make the Esim my primary

Double checking. When I travel outside the EU I'm signed up to an e-sim provider. Can I still use that alongside the smarty e-sim? Or is it only one e-sim per phone?

EdwardBo_312430 On a modern phone, you can store a number of Esims, but you can only have two running at the same time usually. You would choose the primary and secondary.
On an iPhone for example, in Setting>Mobile Service>SIMS you would see those that you have (including a physical one if you have it). They are then toggled on or off. I currently have my Smarty sim toggled on and an Esim toggled off as I do not nee to use it in the UK.
