Do you need to cancel a PAC code if you don't end up moving away

Currently in a group plan and considered moving to ee to get some extra bundles. Requested pac code and gave it to ee. Got the new sim then decided NOT to move before I activated it.

Do I need to cancel any process with smarty or will my account remain the same. Don't want to suddenly lose my number.
