Hi. I am travelling and aware of the 12gb data cap, which when exceeded I can pay for a 3 day add on. I am travelling for a long time, so is there another way just to buy another 12gb extension.
Also, how do I know how much data I have used. I have just started my trip and there is no history or notifications on sms on how much I have used so far.
chrispeacock Data usage will appear somewhere in your phone settings.
You cannot buy a fresh 12gb roaming as such, you can also only roam for up to 60days

Once the 12GB has been fully consumed, you can buy additional EU add-ons in our SMARTY app.
You will also receive a text message letting you know when you have used 80% of your data, and another tect when it has been consumed.
