Charging to sim/phone
I'd like to turn off the facility to pay for things and have the charge added to my phone bill (if such a facility even exists on Smarty!). How do I do that?

anders There is no such facility with Smarty because they do not operate any credit system to be aid for later.
You can add credit to your account to pay for extras.g. international calls, short code texts but you will not receive a phone bill.
In summary, you buy a plan and add any credit that you want onto your account - there is no shock bill to arrive later on.

CarlCha_3741264 Just to start, check your Account Dashboard when you log in on http://www.smarty.co.uk Does it show the active sim and also a current Smarty plan?
Have you also tried the old trick of turning the phone off and then back on again? Does the screen not show a signal?
