Car Parking Charges
It's looks increasingly likely that car parking charges will mainly be via app on smart phone. (Why not direct charge on tap and pay debit/credit card instead of multiple apps beats me!). Currently Smarty don't have a pay by phone option, but do you think they should be looking at extending their add-ons to cover these types of charges?

As Chalkychap says, in most areas I have come across apps like MIPermit where you register a card for payment, so this is not a problem.
What I've noticed in my region of England is that local authorities now partner with one or other of the Parking App providers (e.g. RingGo), and have upgraded most pay-and-display ticket machines with a card/contactless reader option for parking fees.
