Can't get rid of temporary number

Temporary Number Issue

Along with other people I cannot get rid of the temporary number issued during the change over from O2. This has become quite an issue with some of my contacts. I can receive their messages but they can't receive mine. They say my original number says that it is unobtainable though. My phone is Android.

    Have you reset the phone’s network settings? I have an iPhone so can’t offer any specific advice on where to find this but if you post the make & model I’ll look it up.
