Call dropping

Hi, one of my family members are on lyca mobile. I am on smarty and every time I call him the call drops at 14 seconds. I have called him back off my partners phone EE and works find which leads me to believe that’s it’s someting to do with smarty.  Anyone had the same experience?

    This happens a lot when my Daughter calls me. Had to re-call me 5 times yesterday then we eventually gave up the conversation.
