Buying Add on from Costa Rica
Hello I am in Costa Rica and find I need to be in a position to make/receive calls when WiFi not available to use WhatsApp. Am trying to buy an Add On but I keep getting told to try again later. Do Add Ons have to be bought before leaving the UK? I have switched my settings ok for international calls so it's not that. Any enlightenment welcome. \thanks.

Norman752001 According to the smarty Price Guide p13, you can always buy an add on via your account dashboard. Not sure if you are aware, but data there will cost 10p per megabyte and calls will cost both to make and receive. I would thin that you will race through money if you buy an add on.
If you have fairly modern phone, you could buy a data Esim formally number of companies, Holafly and Airalo to name a couple. They would be more reasonable, but only offer data usually (you can call via WhatsApp.
