Based abroad but yearly long term uk visitor
I live abroad but visit the uk every summer for 3 months or so.
last year I purchased an unlimited data sim only ansd apoarently it is still showing on my dashboard although without any credit.
Is it worth my while buying a new plan for this same number bearing in mind I will “hibernate” it again in September? (I plan to only use it in the uk.)

EricSci_2725601 If you don’t use the sim for 180 days, then you should receive a notification email that the sim will deactivate after a further 40 days without use. Other than that, you can buy a plan as and when it suits you.
EricSci_2725601 If you need data and/or calls while you're in the UK then I don't see why not.. you can just restart the plan when you arrive (or are about to arrive) in the UK, then turn off auto renew when you leave.
