Activating Voicemail in the UK

I'm trying to set up a pin and activate my voicemail from within the UK. I've tried the 123 from my phone with the SMARTY sim in it but get nothing. I've tried dialling the +447782 333123 number and get a response that says "server unavailable". Any ideas anyone ??
