Account paused for no reason.

Woke up this morning not being able to make calls or texts. I logged onto my smarty app using WiFi and it says account paused. All my payment details are up to date and I even re added them again to make sure. I pay with a credit card so there is no issue with there not being enough money in the account. What's going on? 

Has this happened to anyone else?

    is it a glitch to do with the Date change? worrying, I will leave smarty, as I was not impressed when I joined in October... lets see what 8am brings?

    I've woken up to the same issue. 40gb left on plan but account paused?

    Exactly the same here.  Child's plan is paused for no reason, happened very late last night.

    Exactly the same problem for me also. Reassurring to see it is not just me and that Smarty are at fault as it should by rights mean they double down and get things back on track asap

    I have the same issue. I'm set up as recurring billing. Having to use WiFi to continue using my phone.

    I have woken up to the same text message. My payment is usually taken on the 30th, I have just checked my bank and it hasn't been taken yet but there is funds in there for the payment. I am still at home and using Wi-fi ,so haven't had to see if any of the services are working. Is it a glitch because there was no 30th in February? Hopefully it is fixed soon.

    Same thing has happened to me too. Just after midnight when the plan was due to renew i got a text from SMARTY saying "Sorry we couldn't connect your data request, it doesn't look like you have enough data. To find out how to use more data, go to http....."

    I haven't made any changed to my account / plan and all payment details are correct and sufficient funds etc. But noticed they never took payment a few days before like they usually do. 

    I hope this is fixed ASAP as i need the phone for work Monday.

    Yes, the exact same thing has happened to me too. I’m guessing it’s a problem at Smarty’s end and hopefully will be fixed soon
