I bought a smarty sim card on ebay becuase im early Dementia and the number was easy to remeber. Then i found out my 5gb data was kept ny Smarty after I bought it. That Data is mine, i buy it. Like my sky card it rolls over, why, becuase if you pay for it you own it. So I closed my plan. I then went to restart it to getbpuk to transfer to Sky and Smarty changed my number. Im now left with a number thats not even working. My other numbers stopped taking in coming calls.
I have tried support but it is thee worst Customer Support i have encountered.
Thry cant call you. The agent says, lol, we stay totally digital yo save you money. Aye right. You steal data from every customer you have at end of each month . Data theft Scam.
Send me my puk code. James Stewart. Or, ill see younin court and destroy your theiving company in court. First will be reported for a data theft scam.
Sort it. Utter scammers.

Hi @JamesSt_2450380 we don't roll over data I'm afraid so your plan allowance will refresh each month when your plan renews.
We wouldn't change your number without a PAC submission so I'm not 100% clear on the situation. It sounds like you possibly never transferred your number over to us if the number on your SMARTY SIM is unfamiliar to you - it's likely the original SMARTY number that came with the SIM. If that's the case, your number will still be with whichever network you were with before SMARTY.
However, you can obtain a PAC by texting 'PAC' to 65075. More info on how to do this can be found here https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/5046090-how-do-i-request-a-pac

@JamesSt_2450380 You purchased Asim card on Ebay - are you sure that you weren't being scammed there?
Why would Smarty be interested in doing you out of ยฃ5?
If the card/account had a data add on of 5Gb, it would stay on the account.
Did the person who sold you the SIM card give you the account details so that you could check on the Account Dashboard?
As for stealing data - they do not steal anything because it is clearly explained that the monthly Smarty plan does not roll over - it is a use it, or lose it product.
A PUK code is only useful if you have locked your sim by putting in the wrong password for several attempts.
Finally, I don't think that you will have a case for taking anyone to court over ยฃ5. The costs of registering your claim will be more than that.
