Unable to make or recieve calls or texts

I have been unable to make or recieve calls or texts for a few days now tried switching phone off and on. Had look at sim manager and noticed calls and texts aren't using sim 1 but my Internet is do I need new sim card and how do I get 1 from smarty tia

also, be mindful that Smarty have just turned off 3G this week. It is possible that your phone is no longer compatible. https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/6142278-switching-off-3g

We are sorry to hear this, this must be very frustrating.

We would recommend using the coverage checker to see if the 3G network has been turned off in your area.

As MSF mentioned, your handset may no longer be compatible with SMARTY, so that is also worth checking.

If you handset is compatible, ensure 4G VoLTE (4G Calling) is enabled in your device settings.

Thanks for replying checked coverage in area that is good also phone is compatible up to 5G when I go into sim manager on phone my mobile data is showing with my sim card but calls and texts are not which made me think sim card is the problem tried switching phone off and on also taking out and putting sim back in but still same 

@VinceVa_1817176  Probably worth trying the replacement sim option in that case.

Another idea - can you put any other sim in the phone to make sure it is not a phone issue?
