Transfer my Smarty number to my son
I am the named subscriber on a Smarty plan. My son has been using the number. He now wants to keep the same number, but to be the named subscriber. Two questions: 1) within Smarty, can we change the name and contact details of a subscriber linked to number XYXY OR 2) If he becomes a subscriber (in his name) with another operator and I then get a PAC code for my smarty number XYXY, can he 'port' number XYXY to the account in his name with the other operator? Jonathan_486550 I agree with Strandloper and think you should try his first suggestion by starting a web chat with a very clear explanation of what you are trying to achieve.
I think there are two options
- Talk to a Smarty Agent over web chat and see if they can sort out the names.
- Swap the names by porting the number to a new SIM on a different SIM provider, and then port back to Smarty. That may mean using a month's plan with another provider .....
