Hello everyone please help! I've ported to Smarty last week, and now some, not all of my texts read the old Smarty number. I've gone through the steps of checking the correct number is stored, resetting the network etc, but nothing works. I've contacted Smarty, and there answer is another SIM, but I can't do this, as with the holidays I will have no phone for at least a week, as they freeze my account if I order a SIM. I'm alone, I need the phone. Any ideas to try?

Just to clarify, it's not a phone setting, as I've put the sim in another android andxits the same.

@kittsbud As you've already checked the sim in another phone with the same result, it certainly does sound like your phone is fine.
If Smarty are offering a replacement sim, it's hard to see any alternative until you have tried that. I'm not sure if they always freeze the account, especially since your sim has not been stolen - you could try discussing via web chat.
I suppose the other potential problem is that the port did not work fully.

Webchat says the account will freeze if I have a new SIM. They've escalated it to another team and will email me. Fingers crossed!

@kittsbud Interesting! Although you would expect the account to be suspended until you activate the replacement, some people in the past have reported that the account was apparently not frozen.
It would be good to find out how this gets solved. Hope it does not take long for you.
