Sim for iPad

Hello!

Can I use my smarty unlimited data sim in my iPad? And if so can I use it in EU on that tariff? And if so would it still be unlimited? Thanks!

Yes, you can use it in your iPad. You will be limited to using 12GB of data while in the EU.

@SachaL  Provided that you have a cellular + GSM iPad, then you can use the sim in it.

Instead of taking the sim out of your phone and risking the possibility of damaging it, why not tether instead, using the phone as a hotspot?

Thank you, I will check out the roaming rules link. The sim isn't in my phone, it's in my modem/router at home.

Does the iPad also need to be updated to be able to use abroad like phone? If so, how to do this please?

@SachaL If you put the sim into the iPad directly, there will be settings for mobile network - the same as for an iPhone, I'm guessing. Check out the article.
