I have 3 SIMs:
SIM 1: group owner
SIM 2: Group Member
SIM 3: Group Member
I need to cease SIM 1 as I no longer need it. I can't just cancel it as all the account management stuff goes via the 2-factor authentication sending a code by SMS to this SIM.
I want to transfer Group Ownership to SIM 2, then cancel SIM 1.
Elsewhere on this forum Smarty say this is not possoible, which is unreasonable.
So I intend to remove SIM 2 and SIM 3 from the group (but I do not want to cancel them as I have gone to a great deal of trouble to port the numbers in from elsewhere), then Create another group with SIM 2 as the group owner, and join SIM 3 to it. Then I can remove SIM 1 completely.
But I can't work out how to do this.
Any ideas?

@BruceBal_894232 I suggest you remove each of them from the group first. Sim 2 then starts a group and invites sim 3. Sim 1 eventually is deactivated after 220 days of inactivity (warning email sent at 180 days).

Which I am trying to do....
It says "Bruce iPhone ProMax doesn't have an online account set up. Group Mmeber smust have an online account to transfer to a regular SMARTY account"
Webchat gives no instructions on how to set up a new online account independent of a group? I don't mind setting up additional accounts but not if they require me to have yet another SIM and monthly subscription?

Actually I may have an easier solution: apparently if I "resend code" I can get the account login sent oto my e-mail address, so I don't need to acces SIM 1. So if I cancel SIM1's monthly subscription the account will still exist but have no call/data credit on it (I might want to restart using it later), might be a better solution. I just don't want all 3 SIMs to suddenly stop working!

@BruceBal_894232 Yes, simply stop any auto renew on sim 1 and do nothing until you get a warning email. You could then buy the smallest plan for one month and repeat the process.
