Mobile internet

Hi will a smarty date sim card work in a 3 network mifi device.  As I am with smarty with my mobile plans wich is ok but my Samsung I.M. messenger has never worked since i have been with smarty.  Any advice on both questions would be a great help .

    I have done now. Big mistake getting a SIM reliant on Three! Waste of a tenner

    Hi I have purchased a Smarty data only SIM to work with a TP-Link Mifi unit. It states that the SIM is not connected and the IP address is a string of zeros. Other SIM work very easily. Am I missing something that needs to be configured, The Smarty SIM works fine in the phone

      GrahamW_2413247  You need to check that the APN is set to mob.asm.net

        Thanks I have done, but with no joy. We have awful connectivity here which may explain the problem. My TP-Link Mifi still says that the SIM is ready but disconnected

    Is your Mi-Fi device network locked LeeTuck_1008290? 
    They are often locked to the network that originally sold the device.

    Although SMARTY uses the Three network, it is a MVNO and therefore technically a different service provider.
