IPv6 is now live on SMARTY

Just a heads up that IPv6 is being now being rolled out by THREE and works with SMARTY. I am now assigned both an IPv6 and IPv6 address. It's being switching on mast by mast so you should automatically receive this service in the near future if you haven't already benefited from it.

What's the difference between the two

The main difference is IPv6 supports more network connected devices than IPv4.

Do you know how to get it switched off?

Interesting as I use Smarty as a WAN failover, so would like to get dual stack configured on the Netear router/pfsense.

Any idea of the timescale on this?  Would love to get v6 on my phone without having to VPN it.

Thanks @WelshPaul ! Does this mean that devices on the Smarty network should then be free of CG-NAT issues and have an external IP? Or do you think the v6 addresses will still be behind NAT routing from the WAN side?

I assume it’s a long rollout if mast by mast.
