Hi there. I'm looking for a bit of assistance with the best way to proceed with managing a group.
First, some background info:
I manage a SMARTY group containing two SIMs, both used in my daughter's phones. My details are used for the contracts and as the group owner. My eldest daughter uses the SIM in my name in her phone. My youngest daughter uses a Nickname SIM on my account for her phone. I set it up this way as at the time both children were under 16.
The issue I have is this:
Eldest daughter will be leaving home in a few months. We've agreed that she will be responsible for paying her own mobile bill from that point, so it would make sense for the SMARTY contract to transfer in to her name. I'm unsure how we achieve this given the contract is currently in my name and the group contains the Nickname SIM. Both girls would like to stay with SMARTY and keep their current phone numbers.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

@Papa_Romeo I think that this is going to be very difficult/impossible if they both wish to keep their own numbers.
Effectively, you own both numbers as Group Owner, and the nickname sim is effectively only a sub-unit of the Group owner sim and cannot be removed from the Group: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/3408171-how-do-i-remove-a-member-from-my-group-plan
Smarty say that they do not allow change of name on an account, except for marriage, decree absolute divorce or deed poll. That makes it sound impossible. See: https://help.smarty.co.uk/en/articles/8263788-updating-your-name
Having now spread the doom and gloom, it's always worth having a web chat with Smarty Support to explain the situation carefully (including being prepared to provide evidence of the girls' ages)and see if they can do anything to help. I'm sure that this situation must crop up from time to time.
