French Carrier

Once again I am in France (Paris) and my roaming is not picking up the French carrier.  Does anyone know who the French carrier is for Smarty?

Have you changed the APN in your phone to “mob.asm.net” ?

Hi Yes it was all set when I arried as travel alot.  About 3 hours after arriving I recieved a smarty text welcoming me to France then it started to work.   A bit slow to get the text but I had wifi for calls in the hotel. I wanted it for google maps for getting around but all good now thanks

So, which French carrier did you have success with, as it may help others in the future ?

@GaryBet_2159589 The main network operators in France are Orange, SFR, Bouygues Telecom, and Free.

If you are having problems, try putting your phone to Manual Network selection and then try each in turn.

Don't forget the the networks probably prioritise their own customers and so, if a mast is congested, you may have problems with signal.
