Hi smarty
Could you add the callertunes service so that when someone calls you they hear music with the ringer
Unitysounduk Does any other network have that option currently?
I don't understand why the caller wouldn't be happier to hear the standard ring tone - at least they can be assured that the call is going through.
I must say that if I heard music instead of the ringing tone, that would confuse the issue for me.
Hi it was a feature of most networks a few years ago in the UK but they seemed to stop doing it it's very popular in other countries to this day you still hear the ringing you just hear music also
It would be a good feature to have the option to have
Unitysounduk The fact that other networks have stopped it - doesn't that say something?
It would be a good feature in your opinion, but I do not agree - particularly if you couldn't turn it off.
Hi you can choose to have it on or off it normally cost around a £1 a month for the service
If the customer would rather the normal ringer they just wouldn't opt in to the service
Having the feature would give the customer the choice which is always a good thing
Unitysounduk As you buy a Smarty plan for the month in advance, then you would have to choose whether to have that service on or off for the whole month with no option to change.
This adds a level of complication. From what I see on the forums, some people struggle already just buying a plan, never mind choosing whether to have music or not!
The point about Smarty is that it is no-frills but you re asking them to add just such a frill.
It would be a monthly service that you can turn on or off through the month so you wouldn't have to have it for the whole month if you didn't want to
Unitysounduk But you would have to pay when you purchased the plan? This leads to more admin for Smarty.
As I said, it is no-frills to keep costs down.
It wouldn't have to be when you renewed it could be at anytime and last a month you can still receive calls if you don't renew
Unitysounduk Sorry, but you're missing my point. That would be another thing requiring administration on the system - another 'frill' in a 'no frills' network?
I understand your point
