My best bargain is the house I am living in. 5 years ago I bought it for £80,000 admittedly it was in a poor state and I spent about the same modernising it. I now live in an almost 200 year old cottage that has all the benefits of an ultra modern house while retaining its original charm. It was valued at more than the total paid for purchase and refurbing so this is my favourite bargain.
